DESCRIPTION:Whet your palette for paint night\, deCordova style! \nBring your friends for a fun\, no pressure painting session inspired by artwork in our Corporate Loan Program. An experienced instructor will guide you to make unique\, creative artworks. You’ll need a sense of adventure\, a creative spirit\, and clothes that can get messy. All other supplies will be provided including acrylic paint\, brushes\, canvas and extra fun art making materials. \nThis event is all ages\, but 21+ for adult beverages. \nYour ticket includes: \nall supplies\none free drink and access to the cash bar\nfacilitated painting session\nPlease park in the main lot and check in at the front desk of the Museum. Staff will be on hand to give directions. \nCancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather\, low enrollment\, or other circumstances\, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of cancellation. DESCRIPTION:Each play-based hour of ARTfull Play features a unique opportunity to engage with art\, stories\, materials\, nature\, and new friends. The conversation and stories start just after 10:30 followed by close looking at the art and creations inspired by what we’ve seen and heard. \nEACH MONTH’S INSPIRATION:\nJanuary – Dan Graham’s Crazy Spheroid – Two Entrances\nFebruary – Richard Rosenblum’s Venusvine\nMarch – Arlene Shechet’s Tall Feather \nBest for children ages 1-4 accompanied by a caregiver\, older and younger siblings are welcome. \nWe’ll hold the program in the Park (light drizzle or shine)\, gathering near a different sculpture each month. In the event of a cancellation\, those registered will receive an email. \nFamily programs are designed to welcome a wide range of ages and abilities. Please contact us to discuss reasonable adaptations to benefit anyone in your group. \nEmail Sarah Brockway\, sbrockway@thetrustees.org if the price of the ticket is cost-prohibited for your family. \nPre-ticketing is required in order to anticipate capacity. Draw a detailed floorplan in a blueprint of your own Museum. Arrange blocks and more to create an imaginative interpretation of deCordova’s campus. How much can we add to the space over the course of 3 days! \nFind your own approach and/or collaborate to construct creative sculptures. Join us for a short time or the entire drop-in window. \nFor any age and an accompanying adult – all are welcome. \nWe’ll hold the program inside the Museum in the Dewey Family Gallery near the exhibition. In the event of a cancellation\, those registered will receive an email. \nFamily programs are designed to welcome a wide range of ages and abilities.
