Back 2 Mac’s 40+ song list spans all the hits of the chart-topping Buckingham / Nicks / McVie era\, solo hits and early classics by Peter Green and Bob Welsh. Lush vocal harmonies and an easy-going playfulness with the audience distinguishes Back 2 Mac performances from those of other tributes\, a result of the combined years of music-making among the band members who have played and recorded with Leon Russell\, Bob Weir\, The Impressions\, Days Of The New\, Josh Ritter\, Anais Mitchell\, and Kevin Morby. Pooling their experiences into electrifying performances of Fleetwood Mac music\, Back 2 Mac play small theaters\, city-sponsored events\, and great rock and roll venues including City Winery (Nashville\, Philly\, Chicago\, and Boston)\, Brooklyn Bowl (Brooklyn); Headliners Music Hall (Louisville); The Bluebird (Bloomington IN)\, and Stephen Foster Amphitheater (Bardstown KY). DESCRIPTION:We are excited to be singing beautiful music together for our 43rd year! Lexington Pops Chorus is a non-audition community chorus in Lexington\, MA\, that has been performing continually since its inception in the Fall of 1982. The chorus enjoys the enthusiasm of more than 50 singers from over 15 towns. We are a diverse group whose common bond is the love of music and the joy of singing. \nWe perform concerts in mid-January and mid-May every year. Our programs include a wide variety of music\, from classical selections\, folk songs and spirituals to modern show tunes and popular songs. Our goal is to provide a challenging\, exciting\, and above all\, enjoyable musical experience for the performers as well as the audience. Our Concerts page shows pieces that we have sung in past years. \nRehearsals take place in Clark Hall at Hancock Church\, 1912 Massachusetts Ave\, Lexington\, MA. New singers are welcome at the beginning of each semester when we hold two free\, open rehearsals. Auditions are not required; however\, singers must be able to read music. \nWe look forward to welcoming you!
