SUMMARY:Lowell Summer Music Series: Chadwick Stokes
DESCRIPTION:Chadwick Stokes is an accomplished musician and songwriter who grew up on a small farm outside of Boston. A songwriter since early adolescence\, his many projects have woven together music\, art\, history and activism. From Dispatch\, which he started in his early 20s; to his politically driven band\, State Radio; to his solo project\, Chadwick Stokes and the Pintos\, Chad has committed himself to using music as a vehicle for social and political change. \nAlong with his wife\, Sybil\, he founded Calling All Crows\, a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging music fans around women’s issues both at home and abroad. They’ve worked to bring awareness to the worldwide refugee crisis\, to the proliferation of violence against women and to the persistence of sexual violence within the music industry. Through his many years of working independently within what can be a difficult industry\, Chadwick has been continually motivated by his love of music and the people he makes it with.\n\nAdvance GA $60.00 ($52.00 ticket + $8.00 service fee) \nAdvance Premium $170.00 ($152.00 ticket + $18.00 service fee)\n\nDay Of GA $72.00 ($62.00 ticket + $10.00 service fee)\nDay Of Premium $181.00 ($162.00 ticket + $19.00 service fee) \nPremium Seats are low-to-the-ground chairs which we provide and are located in the first several rows for each show. Go to the seat map on the ticketing page for each show to see the actual layout. For photos\, please visit the the FAQ’s on the Lowell Summer Music Series website.  \nKids age 12 and under are admitted free (general admission seats only) if accompanied by a ticket holder\, courtesy of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. *\n*If this show is moved indoors due to inclement weather\, there will be no free kids ticket promotions due to capacity limitations\, only paid ticket holders may attend.

SUMMARY:Lowell Summer Music Series: Martin Sexton and Ryan Montbleau
DESCRIPTION:Headlining venues from The Fillmore to Carnegie Hall\, Sexton has influenced a generation of contemporary artists. His songs have appeared in television series such as Scrubs\, Parenthood\, Masters of Sex and in numerous films\, though it’s his incendiary live show\, honest lyrics\, and vocal prowess that keep fans coming back for a new experience every time. Sexton’s stated mission continues to be unity through music with a commitment to sharing peace and harmony through song. \nHonesty and vulnerability have been hallmarks of Montbleau’s career since the early 2000’s\, when he first began performing around his native Massachusetts. In the years to come\, he’d go on to collaborate with artists as diverse as Martin Sexton\, Trombone Shorty\, Tall Heights\, and Galactic\, and rack up more than 100 million streams on Spotify alone. Along the way\, Montbleau would share bills with stars like Tedeschi Trucks Band\, Ani DiFranco\, The Wood Brothers\, Rodrigo y Gabriela\, and Mavis Staples\, but it was his ecstatic headline shows—often more than 200 of them a year—that solidified his reputation as a roots rock powerhouse and an inexorable road warrior. NPR’s Mountain Stage compared his “eloquent\, soulful songwriting” to Bill Withers and James Taylor\, while Relix celebrated his “poetic Americana\,” and The Boston Herald raved that “he’s made a career of confident\, danceable positivity.” \n\nAdvance GA $55.00 ($48.00 ticket + $7.00 service fee) \nAdvance Premium $111.00 ($98.00 ticket + $13.00 service fee)\n\nDay Of GA $67.00 ($58.00 ticket + $9.00 service fee)\nDay Of Premium $122.00 ($108.00 ticket + $14.00 service fee) \n \nPremium Seats are low-to-the-ground chairs which we provide and are located in the first several rows for each show. SUMMARY:Kashmir - The Live Led Zeppelin Show
DESCRIPTION:It’s All About the Experience!!!!!\nKashmir\, The Live Led Zeppelin Show was created by vocalist Jean Violet back in 2000. It has grown from the streets of New York City to now being one of the top Led Zeppelin Tribute bands touring nationally and internationally. Kashmir’s primary focus is capturing the live performance and raw energy of a Led Zeppelin show.\nTime and time again audience members who meet and greet with Kashmir after a show tell them how they felt as if they went back in time to a Led Zeppelin concert that they attended or how younger members of the audience will tell the band how it was the closest experience that they will ever get to a Live Led Zeppelin performance.\nYes the singer looks and sounds alot like Robert Plant and the band shares the authenticity\, appearance and sound of the great Led Zeppelin but more importantly the band wants to share the energy and the experience that Led Zeppelin created while on tour. The band calls it “The Zone” and they want everyone to share that same electromagnetic experience after leaving a Kashmir show like so many Zep fans did in the past while watching the great Led Zeppelin on stage!

SUMMARY:Sunday Stroll Walking Tour: Lexington Celebrates!
DESCRIPTION:Parades\, pageants\, and pandemonium have defined the many commemorations of the 1775 Battle of Lexington and the first shots of the War for Independence. Over the centuries\, thousands of people have descended upon the Battle Green to welcome Revolutionary War heroes like the Marquis de Lafayette on his tour of America in 1824. The anniversaries of the battle offered them a glimpse of President Grant in 1875 and a word from President Ford in 1975. On this land\, protestors have sat and monuments have been built to the fallen. Join a Lexington Historical Society educator as they illuminate 250 years of stories full of crowds\, chaos\, and celebrations! \nStarting and ending at Buckman Tavern\, this tour explores areas around the Lexington Battle Green. The tour is 1 hour long and covers about a 1/2 mile on flat ground. \n$10 members\, $15 nonmembers
