She is a Copley Master with the Copley Society of Artists and was honored with a Co/So Fellowship and Residency at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown Massachusetts in 2023\, and was a 2021 Sam and Adele Golden Foundation for the Arts Resident. She was awarded a Mass Cultural Council Fellowship for her drawings and two ArtsWorcester Material Needs Grants. She has lead painting classes in Texas\, New Mexico\, Italy\, Greece\, and throughout New England. DESCRIPTION:People of the past used science just like we do every day\, even on an 18th century farm! Learn how simple chores like writing a letter\, working in the barn\, or caring for a sick person utilize chemistry and physics. As we explore a historic tavern\, we’ll become household scientists: making medicine by grinding herbs from the garden\, using simple tools\, and observing chemical reactions in making ink and butter. \nThis program is recommended for 6th – 7th graders. \n$15 members\, $20 nonmembers. \nAdvanced tickets required. Since children will be dropped off for this program\, a LHS Children’s Program Participation Form is required.

The Gloves has been a tradition in New England since 1947 and sells out the Lowell Memorial Auditorium every year. “It’s only there to give kids a way out of a lifestyle and to promote the sport of boxing along with good health\, good training\, exercise and confidence.” \nWhen you win the Golden Gloves\, you don’t get paid\, you get the respect of your community; that’s very important to a young kid\, as it gives them confidence to build their life upon. \nLowell\, Massachusetts has a great tradition of boxing dating back 74 years ago. When you go to a Golden Gloves show in Lowell\, you know that it is unlike other boxing shows or any other sporting event in general.
