SUMMARY:The American Revolution: A story of the War in 28 Paintings
DESCRIPTION:1776 was more than a turning point; it marked the birth of a new world order. A bold line was drawn as ordinary people made extraordinary decisions\, declaring independence from the most powerful empire on earth. Driven by youthful fire\, they believed in the promise of liberty more than they feared the cost of pursuing it.\nHistoric Beverly proudly presents The American Revolution: A story of the War in 28 Paintings\, a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition of artworks commissioned to illustrate Senator Henry Cabot Lodge Sr.’s landmark book.\nThese paintings are featured in Ken Burns’ upcoming documentary The American Revolution. The exhibit will be on display at the Cabot House from September 6\, 2025 to July 4\, 2026. Tickets are free and open to the public.

SUMMARY:Kids Night: Ben Rudnick & Friends
DESCRIPTION:Kids Concert Night with Ben Rudnick & Friends!\nBen Rudnick & Friends Bring Celebration to Their Performances\nWith countless kudos to their credit\, including SEVEN Parents’ Choice Awards\, the band considers its main focus to be providing a common ground where all family members can enjoy a shared musical experience.\nDrawing on original songs and traditional material\, the band seamlessly integrates classic Americana with their own unique sound. It’s kids\, it’s families\, it’s music… live music.\nThe band is in their 22nd year of making music for families. That includes twelve recordings\, tours up and down the east coast\, a week of shows in Colorado and a play about a certain frog\, named Sam\, and his alien buddy\, Trip. The band is an institution in the Boston area and are happiest when playing outside on a perfect New England summer evening.\nThe tightly-honed quartet ties its identity to their New England homeland. Their sound is pure Americana. There’s a summer feel with a strong sense of celebration and happiness.

SUMMARY:Who Are You - A Who Tribute
DESCRIPTION:WHO ARE YOU – A Tribute to THE WHO featuring Carl Dixon-former singer for The Guess Who (touring version).\n“If you want a truly incredible live WHO experience like no other\, go see these guys! WHO ARE YOU recreate the sound on stage that will make any WHO maniac smile. If your a true WHO fan like me for over forty years\, you will not be disappointed…Pure genius\, high energy\, and a fantastic sprinkle of WHO ARE YOU putting their own little touch on the greatest music ever made..”// Rob A.-Oswego\, NY\n“It was a fantastic musical experience with a balance of faithful reproduction of the Who and your personal signature/interpretation..” // Tom R.-Marlborough\, MA\nThe music of The Who defined a generation\, and more\, has successfully managed to withstand the test of time. When it comes to pop music\, success is measured by longevity\, and songs like “My Generation\,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again” or “Behind Blue Eyes” are just as relevant now as they were when Pete Townshend penned them decades ago. \nNo one wrote quite like him\, as no voice compares to Roger Daltrey’s and no rhythm section quite measures up to the bar set by John Entwistle and Keith Moon. However\, Massachusetts-based tribute band\, Who Are You\, have dedicated themselves to providing the most authentic Who experience they can.

SUMMARY:deCordova Performance Series: Ellis Paul
DESCRIPTION:deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum is thrilled to host a very special evening with legendary singer-songwriter Ellis Paul as part of the deCordova Performance Series. \nEllis Paul doesn’t just write songs\, he tells stories that stay with you. A true troubadour\, he captures the hopes\, loves\, and losses of everyday life and transforms them into music that feels both deeply personal and widely resonant. \nInfluenced by artists like Joni Mitchell\, Bob Dylan\, Paul Simon\, and Woody Guthrie\, Paul blends intimate storytelling with broader social themes\, creating songs that are as timely as they are timeless. \nBorn and raised in Maine\, Paul got his start in the Boston music scene while attending Boston College\, eventually breaking through after winning the Boston Acoustic Underground competition. Since then\, he has released more than 20 albums\, toured internationally\, and built a fiercely loyal following. His songs have appeared in major films and have been recorded by artists including Sugarland\, Kristian Bush\, and Jack Ingram. \nA recipient of numerous honors\, including 15 Boston Music Awards and the Kerrville New Folk Award\, Paul continues to evolve as both a songwriter and performer. His recent work reflects on resilience\, gratitude\, and connection in a complicated world. \nConcert begins at 6:30 PM | Doors open at 5:00 PM \nThe concert will take place outdoors on the front lawn. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and make yourself comfortable. In the event of rain\, the performance will move inside the Museum. \nYOUR TICKET INCLUDES \nYour ticket includes admission to deCordova’s campus and free parking.
