SUMMARY:The American Revolution: A story of the War in 28 Paintings
DESCRIPTION:1776 was more than a turning point; it marked the birth of a new world order. A bold line was drawn as ordinary people made extraordinary decisions\, declaring independence from the most powerful empire on earth. Driven by youthful fire\, they believed in the promise of liberty more than they feared the cost of pursuing it.\nHistoric Beverly proudly presents The American Revolution: A story of the War in 28 Paintings\, a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition of artworks commissioned to illustrate Senator Henry Cabot Lodge Sr.’s landmark book.\nThese paintings are featured in Ken Burns’ upcoming documentary The American Revolution. The exhibit will be on display at the Cabot House from September 6\, 2025 to July 4\, 2026. Tickets are free and open to the public.

SUMMARY:Conversation in Movement - Loading Dock Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Conversation in Movement explorers the poetic\nrelationship between the dance and visual art. Inspired by\n the unspoken language that arises when gesture\, color\,\n and form interact\, this exhibition invites viewers\nto experience an emotional and sensory exchange. \nTogether\, Nino Gordeladze\, Dina Mordeno\, Ed Porzio\,\n and Johanna Tiemann create a rhythmic visual\nenvironment where movement is both subject and\n collaborator. Painted forms\, whimsical colors\,\nplayfulness\, and captured slices of motion weave\ntogether into a single expressive conversation. \nJoin us for an opening reception on January 3rd from\n 3-5 pm\, during Western Avenue Studios & Lofts Open Studios.\nDancer Kosmia Vaporis will perform a brief movement\n piece at the reception at 4 pm.

SUMMARY:AudaTours Lowell Audio Tour: Canals\, Cathedrals & Creative Spirits Unveiled
DESCRIPTION:Spinning wheels once thundered through Lowell’s streets\, powering more than fabric-sparking fierce battles for equality and the secret dreams of mill girls behind brick walls. This self-guided audio tour opens doors most visitors walk past\, layering lost stories over familiar sidewalks and letting you move at your own pace. \nWhat urgent message led desperate workers to defy factory bosses in the heart of the mills? Which ghostly rumor quietly haunts the shelves of the Pollard Memorial Library? Why did an engineer bury a coded letter beneath the Pawtucket Gatehouse\, and what has it kept secret for a century? \nWinding through canals\, libraries\, and gatehouses\, every turn ripples with discovery. Feel the tension of rebellion beneath your feet and glimpse Lowell’s soul in flickers of shadow and steam. Listen\, look closer\, and find a city transformed. \nUnlock Lowell’s hidden engines-press play and let the city’s boldest moments rise again.
