With their latest release\, Go Climb a Tree\, their music has never sounded more representative of themselves as musicians and as live performers.\nThe band attributes their continued success to their fanatic audience\, and it’s a well-diversified crowd for sure. The country-music folks adore the storytelling\, the bluegrass-heads love the instrumentals\, Celtic fans love their devotion to tradition\, and the rockers simply relish the passion they play their instruments with. Each band member\, in their own way\, expresses a deep gratitude for their fans\, but it’s best summed up in the words of Patrick Murphy: “The fans are the ones that have given us this life. We’re here for them.” \nOn Go Climb a Tree\, co-founders of Gaelic Storm\, Steve Twigger and Patrick Murphy\, along with longtime friend and co-writer Steve Wehmever\, are again at the helm of song-writing duties. The album has everything—party drinking songs  (“The Beer Song”)\, patriotic anthems (“Green\, White and Orange”)\, beautiful folk songs (“Monday Morning Girl”)\, spritely instrumentals “”The Night of Tomfoolery”)\, perfectly poppy songs (“Shine On”)\, and even a raucous pirate song (“Shanghai Kelly”). When speaking of the overall concept of the album\, Patrick Murphy gives some insight: “With all the craziness and division in the world\, we wanted to make an album about ‘contemplative escapism.’ Go Climb a Tree certainly isn’t about dropping out of the conversation\, it’s just about taking a short hiatus to recharge the batteries before you take on the world again.” \nIn light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic\, Gaelic Storm\, originally scheduled for Saturday\, June 20\, 2020 at 7:30pm\, has been rescheduled for the 2022 Season\, and will now take place on Friday\, June 24\, 2022 at 7:30pm at Boarding House Park. All tickets for the original show date will be honored for the new performance date. If you bought a ticket online\, you will be emailed your ticket 4 days prior to the rescheduled concert. No action is required. If you have a physical ticket\, that ticket will be honored at the new concert date.  If you are unable to attend the new show date\, please consider donating the value of your ticket purchase. As a non-profit music series\, your donation to Lowell Summer Music Series is a tax-deductible. By making a donation\, you are helping us to provide our community with quality entertainment in the months and years to come.  For ticket holders unable to end the rescheduled date\, full refunds are also available. Given the volume of refunds and delayed credit card processing times\, it may take several weeks for the refund to post to your credit card statement. Refunds for rescheduled shows will be available until June 30\, 2021.  \nPremium Seats are available in the first several rows for each show. Go to the seat map on the ticketing page for each show to see the actual layout. We have reduced each row from 16 seats to 12 seats so we can provide increased space between patrons.  Seats 13 to 16 on the seat maps for each show have been deleted to allow for this additional space. DESCRIPTION:Learn about Concord’s African-American history on this 90 minute walking tour (about 2 miles). Guests will visit sites around town highlighting Concord’s history around slavery\, the first generation of freed African-Americans and Abolitionism in Concord. \nThis tour was originally developed for the Concord Museum. Information on their current exhibits and hours\, please visit www.concordmuseum.org \n\nThis tour can be a 90 minute walking tour or a 90 minute biking tour which visits sites further away from town.  The tour departs from the Visitor Center at 58 Main Street. \nNew!  This tour is being offered as a walking tour on June 19th and 20th at 1pm! Tickets are $25 for Adults and $20 for Seniors/Students.  Purchase tickets on-line or 15 mins. before the tour at the Visitor Center. \nPrivate tours are offered year-round on request for groups of 4 or more.
