This colorful show celebrates life as well as Ukrainian heritage\, with work ranging from traditional designs to lush abstracts. Working in war-ravaged Ukraine\, the artists seek not only to make a living\, but to teach and support adults and children\, providing much needed healing through the universal language of art. “Art is like oxygen\,” says artist Lyubov Mineko. “It makes everyone feel comfortable. How much can we add to the space over the course of 3 days! \nFind your own approach and/or collaborate to construct creative sculptures. Join us for a short time or the entire drop-in window. \nFor any age and an accompanying adult – all are welcome. \nWe’ll hold the program inside the Museum in the Dewey Family Gallery near the exhibition. In the event of a cancellation\, those registered will receive an email. \nFamily programs are designed to welcome a wide range of ages and abilities. Other stops include Priscilla’s Candy Shop\, a fourth generation family owned candy shop\, hand making fine chocolates\, truffles\, fudges and caramels since 1936\, and the Concord Cheese Shop for a taste of locally made Chocolate Chevre Cheese. The tour will end at Nosh. \nReservations are required for this tour and must be booked 24 hours in advance.
