SUMMARY:Daryl Hall with special guest Glenn Tilbrook
DESCRIPTION:Daryl Hall is a modern-day renaissance man\, an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame\, the star of his very own award-winning web series\, Live from Daryl’s House\, as well as a successful venue owner with “Daryl’s House\,” a restored venue and live music space in Pawling\, N.Y. \nDaryl released his sixth solo album\, D\, on Virgin Music Group on June 21\, co-produced by one-time Eurythmics member and fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Dave Stewart\, who co-wrote seven of the nine new original songs with Hall penning the other two on his own. The first single from the album\, “Can’t Say No To You” can be seen here on YouTube. \nDaryl Hall has come a long way\, and he’s still got plenty of mileage left in a career that’s taken him from the streets of Philadelphia to the halls of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. The best is yet to come.

SUMMARY:Draw the Line - An Aerosmith Tribute
DESCRIPTION:Draw the Line – the “Officially Endorsed Aerosmith Tribute Show” – originating near Boston Massachusetts\, the same as Aerosmith themselves. – Come and see the show at NARA Park in Acton\, MA!\nIt doesn’t get more authentic than this… period! \nEstablished in 1991\, Draw the Line has been touring for more than 30 years spanning the continental United States\, Canada\, Mexico\, Central America\, the Caribbean and Europe. DTL has played over 3\,000 shows to sold out Audiences of up to 20\,000 people. From MGM Grand Arena Las Vegas\, to festivals throughout the USA\, plus many legendary theaters\, casinos\, and cruise ships\, Draw the Line is the standard for tribute shows. \nDuring a January 1998 radio interview\, Aerosmith Lead Singer Steven Tyler singled out Draw the Line as the best of the Aerosmith tribute bands. With disc jockey Nik Carter adding\, ” I’ve seen Draw the Line. They are Aerosmith!!” DTL has been featured in international fanzines\, Boston Globe\, Boston Herald and other newspapers across the country. DTL has been featured on MTV and AXSTV World’s Greatest Tribute Bands as the best Aerosmith tribute show. \n \nThey are the only tribute band that has been featured on Aerosmith’s website as well as their Aero Force One official fan club. With support and accolades from Aerosmith themselves\, as well as journalists\, top DJs\, and fans worldwide\, it’s no wonder Draw the Line is recognized as a one-of-its-kind. “ A professional show band in a league of their own amongst tribute acts and of a caliber that is unparalleled in the tribute genre”\, says Joe Reardon\, reporter for the Mariner newspaper group. \n \nAerosmith members have been known to appear at DTL shows over the years\, with original founding Aerosmith member Ray Tabano frequently jamming with them – you never know who you’ll see at a DTL show! \n \nDraw the Line features lead vocalist Neill Byrnes\, a true Steven Tyler doppelgänger . Neill won a Steven Tyler lookalike contest during Aerosmith’s Pump tour\, which would end up kickstarting his 30 plus year career as Steven Tyler. He has appeared on talk shows\, tv commercials\, done voice overs and movies. He recently appeared in the 2020 Lynyrd Skynyrd biopic “Street Survivors” as Steven Tyler. \n \nDraw the Line\, in addition to Neill\, boasts some incredibly talented musicians completing the Aerosmith line-up: \n \nJim Dennis (Brad Whitford)\nBarry Johnson (Tom Hamilton)\nJohn Myslinski (Joey Kramer) \nTogether\, these five talented musicians perfectly recreate the sound\, energy\, and vibe of an Aerosmith concert; if you love Aerosmith\, this is a show you Don’t Wanna Miss! \nVisit their website: https://www.drawtheline.net

SUMMARY:Weaving An Address - Curator Tour and Author Talk
DESCRIPTION:The public is invited to a free program exploring The Umbrella Arts Center’s outdoors public art ramble\, Weaving an Address\, a site-specific exhibition of work by prominent Black artists commemorating colonial-era Black residents of Concord’s famed Walden Woods. \nOn Saturday\, July 19 at 3PM\, curator and artist Marla McLeod will lead a guided tour of the artwork installed at Brister’s Hill in Walden Woods\, named for Brister Freeman\, an enslaved man who won his freedom by serving in the Revolutionary War and then bought the property and lived there along with other formerly enslaved before Thoreau. \nThe tour will be followed at 4:30PM by refreshments and a panel discussion back at The Umbrella Arts Center (40 Stow Street\, Concord\, MA) with McLeod in dialogue with historian Elise Lemire\, author of Black Walden: Slavery and Its Aftermath in Concord\, Massachusetts\, who was recently a subject of the new international documentary\, Concord’s Secret History\, just released on over 500 PBS stations. Saturday’s discussion will examine the “journey from archive to art\,” and Lemire’s scholarly research that fueled Weaving’s creative installations. \nPart of the town’s Revolution250 celebrations\, this program is co-presented by The Umbrella Arts Center\, The Walden Woods Project and The Robbins House: Concord’s African American History Museum. It featured work by artists Sharon Chandler Correnty\, Ifé Franklin\, Stephen Hamilton\, Whitney Harris\, Ekua Holmes\, Perla Mabel\, Marla McLeod\, Kimberly Love Radcliffe\, and Anthony Peyton Young. \nLearn more at https://theumbrellaarts.org/weaving

SUMMARY:UNCOMMON CONNECTIONS | July 30 – August 31\, 2025| Reception on Saturday August 3\, 3 - 5 pm | Loading Dock Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Show: Uncommon Connections\nShow dates: July 30 – August 31\, 2025\nOpening Reception: August 2 from 3-5 pm \nThis show brings together the creative voices of three senior artists—each representing a distinct medium: painting\, woodworking\, and sculpture. With a lifetime of experiences and shared passion for the arts\, these men offer a rich\, multidimensional exhibition. Their connection goes beyond the canvas or workshop—they are long-time collaborators and curators at the Loading Dock Gallery. Through their individual works and collective vision\, this show celebrates not only their diverse artistic journeys but also the enduring power of community and creativity. \nBruce Wood’s work is imaginative\, whimsical\, creative and provocative\, drawing the viewer into a world of skewed reality and thought. He uses found and recycled items to create unique sculptures. \nNeal Emmer’s work displays simple subject matter with forceful detail. He finds content while taking walks\, driving\, or finding things in thrift stores\, at home and in his back yard. He develops a theme and draws or paints the scenarios using pencil on paper or acrylic paint on canvas. \nBob Jones’ passion for woodworking started at a young age. His work is driven by a desire to marry functionality with artistry\, creating useful and beautiful objects. \nThe Loading Dock Gallery show\, Uncommon Connections\, will be on display July 30 to August 31\, 2025 at the Loading Dock Gallery\, 122 Western Avenue\, Lowell\, MA. Opening Reception on August 2 from 3-5 pm. More at www.theloadingdockgallery.com. \nLoading Dock Gallery is part of Loading Dock Arts\, Inc.\, a 501c3.
