SUMMARY:Play Testing with MIT’s Toy Product Design Students\, Part 2
DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in toys? Come talk to MIT students who want your feedback on their ideas for new toys! Students from MIT’s Toy Product Design class will have test versions of toys that were developed based on feedback they received from our visitors in an earlier program. Play with the prototyped toys and let the student toy designers know if you think they should develop these toys. Stop by\, give your feedback\, and have some fun being part of the engineering design process.

SUMMARY:Happy Birthday Leonardo da Vinci!
DESCRIPTION:Join Discovery Museum as we celebrate Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday. Born on April 15\, 1452\, Leonardo da Vinci was an inventor\, artist\, engineer\, and mathematician who spent his lifetime following his curiosity and exploring a wide variety of interests. Be inspired by da Vinci’s passion for flight as you build hoop gliders and whirligigs. Create a nature journal\, then take it into Discovery Woods to sketch the natural world just like da Vinci. Go on a scavenger hunt to discover some of da Vinci’s most visionary inventions\, practice your hand at writing backwards like da Vinci\, and more! (Some activities are weather dependent.)
