SUMMARY:VASTNESS | July 2 – 27\, 2025| Reception on Saturday July 5\, 3 - 5 pm | Loading Dock Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Loading Dock Gallery\n122 Western Avenue\nLowell\, MA\nShow: Vastness\nShow dates: July 2 – 27\, 2025\nOpening Reception: July 5 from 3-5 pm \nOpening July 2nd\, this show features abstract paintings\, landscapes\, and textile works from Tarja Cockell\, Sandrine Colson\, Nan Hockenbury\, Suzanne Hodge\, Margarita Krylova.\n“Vastness” means immensity or hugeness. Oceans\, space\, deserts\, and the imagination are vast. These artists’ works\, realistic to abstract\, interpret the theme Vastness. The artwork curated in this exhibition speaks to the nature of wide spaces and reach beyond the gallery’s windows to take our imaginations to limitless horizons.\nTarja Cockell has a degree in textile and design. Her work is influenced by the Scandinavian style of simplicity and clean lines.\nSandrine Colson is a storyteller. Her work is filled with paint swirls\, paper cut-outs\, acrylic pouring and three-dimensional objects. Her inspiration is the human soul\, nature\, master artists\, and the world around us.\nNan Hockenbury works with acrylic or oil paints\, pastels\, oil bars\, or any drawing medium on canvas or paper. Her themes are about nature\, herself\, or more powerful women. Her paintings record the scene but rely on color and arrangements to express her feelings during the moment of creation.\nSuzanne Hodge is a Boston area-based oil painter whose favorite subject is cityscapes or landscapes. Her work often evokes a feeling of mystery and possibility that are the inspiration for many of her art pieces.\nMargarita Krylova sees the world as a magical place. Her work lives in this grey area between the real and the imagined – in memories\, coincidences\, associations. Margarita sees nature as a means for soul-searching.\nThe Loading Dock Gallery show\, Vastness\, will be on display July 2 – 27\, 2025 at the Loading Dock Gallery\, 122 Western Avenue\, Lowell\, MA More at www.theloadingdockgallery.com. \nLoading Dock Gallery is part of Loading Dock Arts\, Inc.\, a 501c3.

SUMMARY:Rage Power Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Angry at the world? Need to let off some steam in a healthy way? Join Taylor in this power yoga class where we’ll listen to angry music\, let out all the feelings\, and allow ourselves to RAGE! We’ll end class with a powerful meditation meant to release any pent-up emotions that we may be carrying around. \nPLEASE NOTE: ***This class is an angry class. There will be adult language. There will be songs about the state of the world right now. This class is for those who are also angry\, and who also believe that every human deserves human rights.***

SUMMARY:Crazy Train - The Ozzy Experience
DESCRIPTION:“Crazy Train™ is THE Ultimate Ozzy Osbourne Tribute band. Hosted by Vinny Cormier\, the best Ozzy impersonator you can get\, and supported by a band full of Berklee drop-outs to deliver a captivating show unlike no other musically and visually. The show has a few Special Effects you won’t want to miss! We play every show like it is LIVE AND LOUD 1993! We play all of the Prince Of Darkness’ noteworthy hits anywhere from Sabbath to Patient #9. \nCrazy Train is one of the very best rock tribute shows I’ve seen. The band delivers an endlessly entertaining show focused on honoring Ozzy’s timeless catalog with a staggering dedication to detail. \nVinny Cormier’s performance as Ozzy is simply a must-see for reasons that go beyond the visuals. Yes\, he looks eerily similar to the great man\, and he’s mastered all of the mannerisms\, but his greatest weapon is his voice. With this band\, Cormier sings and performs like Osbourne at the peak of his power.\nGuitarist Dylan Cormier must have spent 10\,000 studying and practicing this material. One of New England’s most technically proficient axe-men\, Cormier makes it look effortless as he attacks material from every era of Ozzy’s career with extraordinary accuracy\, confidence and panache.\nBassist Craig Goodall and drummer Mike Caliandro make for an explosive rhythm section that powers Crazy Train with lethal precision. Their dedication to keeping it in the pocket while instilling the music with an unpredictable edge put this show over the top.\nThe special effects and light show provide an appropriate aura of spookiness to complement one of the very best rock tribute shows on the road today. Add to that the perfect sound mix and a painstaking commitment to detail and you have an unbeatable rock show with Crazy Train.\nMike Dow\,\nThe Maine Edge and BIG 104 FM\n\nhttp://crazytrainozzyexperience.com\n\nhttp://Facebook.com/crazytrainozzyexperience\n\nWith Special Guests\n\nOfficer X

SUMMARY:Twiddle
DESCRIPTION:With 12 years of relentless touring behind them\, Vermont-based rock band Twiddle has built an impressive resume spanning Red Rocks to Bonnaroo\, and multiple sellouts of historic rock venues including Port Chester\, NY’s Capitol Theatre\, and Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club. And with the second half of the band’s third studio album\, PLUMP\, on the horizon\, the band’s career continues to catapult forward. Buoyed by the generous support of 359 Kickstarter donors\, the 27-song album does more than showcase the group’s beautiful music\, but also tells an important story\, comprised in PLUMP Chapters 1 & 2. \nRecorded during a two-year span with legendary producer Ron St. Germain\, PLUMP serves as a reflection of four brothers’ triumphs and struggles\, both individual and as a whole. On Chapter 1\, songs like “Lost in the Cold” and “Every Soul” detail what it’s like to hit rock bottom and how to rise back up. \n“So many fans have shared how these songs carried them through very difficult times\, and that alone makes this all worth it\,” said Brook Jordan\, Twiddle’s percussionist and vocalist.\nComparatively\, Chapter 2 contains genre-bending instrumentals\, as well as mystifying epics like “Nicodemus Portulay” and “Orlando’s.” More than ten years later\, these songs mirror the earliest Twiddle arrangements of 2004-2005 when Mihali Savoulidis and Ryan Dempsey were collaborating in their freshmen dorms at Castleton State College. The completion of PLUMP is timely\, coming at a moment when the band’s fervent fan base is at an all-time high and expanding rapidly. \nIn the live setting\, more and more people are invigorated by Twiddle’s community\, promoting positivity and the band’s skillful improvisational music. So many like-minded people believe in the greater good\, and they find that good in Twiddle. \nPremium Seats are available in the first several rows for each show. Go to the seat map on the ticketing page for each show to see the actual layout. We have reduced each row from 16 seats to 12 seats so we can provide increased space between patrons. Seats 13 to 16 on the seat maps for each show have been deleted to allow for this additional space. Seats 1 through 12 are available for sale. \nKids age 12 and under are admitted free if accompanied by a ticket holder\, courtesy of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. \nAll sales are final. No request for cancellations\, exchanges\, changes or refunds shall be honored.
