This free series is offered annually in partnership with the Lowell Film Collaborative and are screened at the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center. \nThe 2024 line-up covers topics such as: historic enemies uniting to save the Dead Sea\, mushroom harvesting on public lands\, a 200-mile trek on the L.A. aqueduct\, and the extraordinary lives of Steward Udall and Betty Reid Soskin.

DESCRIPTION:SoulMapping is a practice based on SoulCollage\, an art form that combines collage and personal imagery. There will be a sharing of the images included at the end of the session. \nSuggested Audience \nAdults 18 and up \nSupplies/ Equipment Required \nNone; all will be provided by Lowell National Historical Park \nAbout the Artist \nJean Winslow is an artist who is also an art therapist and clinician in private practice with over 40 years working with individuals and groups. She has been offering SoulMapping groups in her studio for the past nine years and has her own SoulMapping and journaling practice that she recommends to all those who attend SoulCollage/SoulMapping workshops. \nAbout Art in the Park \nJoin LNHP and diverse local artists for our Art in the Park series of plein air (outdoors) art workshops. Participants are encouraged to bring their own preferred art supplies if appropriate. \nAbout The Brush Art Gallery & Studios \nThe Brush Art Gallery & Studios (https://www.thebrush.org/) is located in the Lowell National Historical Park across the courtyard from the Visitor Center. This dynamic and captivating place was originally founded by the Lowell Historic Preservation Commission\, U.S. Department of the Interior. The Brush presents museum quality exhibitions\, educational programs\, and has collaborated with many other nonprofit groups. Artists occupy studio spaces to interact with and educate the public on a weekly basis. Currently\, eleven studio artists produce paintings\, illustration\, photography\, jewelry\, sculpture\, ceramics\, quilts\, and handwoven items. Associate artists display work in the common area. The Brush Art Gallery and Studios is a nonprofit\, 501(c)(3) organization. The Brush is supported by the Lowell National Historical Park.
