Free STEM + Movie Night on the Lawn#3: “Hidden Figures”

Join us for a Movie Night on our lawn—our ”Thank You” to the community as we celebrate our 40th anniversary! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and settle in for a fun, family movie. Before the movie starts, try a hands-on engineering activity inspired by the work the trailblazing women of NASA, as you design and build a “landing pod” worthy of a moon landing. Then, enjoy our screening of the movie, all while you enjoy frozen treats available from VeeBop’s Ice Cream truck!
This program is weather and conditions dependent. Rain date is Friday, August 12. Please note: the Discovery Museum building will be open for restroom use only.
