MA250: Celebrating 250 Years of Revolution
Massachusetts is preparing for a once-in-a-generation celebration — the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. In the Revolutionary Valley, history comes alive where it began. Walk the battlefields of Lexington and Concord, explore living history in our towns, and join commemorative events that honor the spirit of independence that changed the world.
Golden Gloves: A Lowell Legacy
Every spring, the Lowell Memorial Auditorium comes alive with the energy of the New England Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions, a tradition since 1945. Presented by The Lowell Sun Charities, this celebrated event has launched countless boxing careers and continues to showcase the heart and grit of New England athletics. In 2027, Lowell will proudly host the National Golden Gloves, marking the tournament’s return to the city for the first time in more than three decades.
