Visit the Concord Museum for a workshop focused on the history and construction of quilts. Participants will look closely at examples of historic quilts from the Museum’s collection in the Lisa H. Foote History Learning Center, where we will examine the techniques, patterns, and fabrics used to make these objects. This discussion will be followed by a demonstration workshop led by a quiltmaker that explores techniques used in quiltmaking today.
