Join us as we tinker about with beads, yarn, buttons, and other items that can be threaded, strung, looped, and laced. Try your hand at some simple stitching or practice with some over sized beads.

Let it snow! Even if it’s not snowing outside, we’ll still be able to make some mini snowballs and snowmen with our baking soda and shaving cream “snow”. Use your hands to mix together the two ingredients and see how it compares to the real thing!

Join us in Discovery Woods to celebrate whatever weather Mother Nature decides give us today. We’ll be doing an activity that works with the weather, whether it’s windy, sunny, or snowy.

Enjoy some green plants during the grey of winter. Make observations, touch, compare and contrast a variety of indoor plants.

Engage in some everyday engineering as you construct and create with repurposed and recycled materials. Bridges help us safely get from here to there. From blocks to paper, we’ll experiment with simple supplies to design and build some sturdy and strong structures.

Create a unique Valentine’s Day artwork by plopping and pressing paint to make a one-of-a-kind heart to keep or gift to someone special!
