Revolutionary Valley Partners with Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce to Launch “Building Belonging” Education Series

The Revolutionary Valley Regional Tourism Council is proud to partner with the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce to host a three-part LGBTQ+ Business Education Series in Lowell beginning March 20, 2026.

Titled “Building Belonging,” the series will provide practical tools and real-world strategies for businesses, nonprofit leaders, and community stakeholders to foster inclusive workplace cultures and ensure LGBTQ+ individuals feel valued, respected, and supported. The sessions are open to all and offered at no cost.

The first session, “Building a Welcoming and Inclusive Workplace for LGBTQ+ Communities,” will take place March 20 from 12:00–1:00 PM at the Revolutionary Valley Visitor Center, located at 115 Merrimack Street in Lowell. The session will be presented by Alexandria Eberhardt, Executive Director of the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

Additional sessions in the series include a Community Panel Discussion on April 24 and Intersectional Allyship on May 8, continuing the conversation about how organizations can strengthen inclusive practices within their workplaces and communities. Building Belonging 2026 Press R…

“This partnership represents exactly what Revolutionary Valley stands for,” said Brian Bradbury, Executive Director of the Revolutionary Valley Regional Tourism Council. “Tourism is about more than destinations. It’s about how people feel when they arrive. We are committed to ensuring that every visitor, resident, employee, and entrepreneur feels welcome here. Hosting this series is an important step in strengthening that promise.”

The initiative is made possible through an Equality Grant from the Greater Lowell Community Foundation, whose support helps expand inclusive programming and community engagement throughout the region.

“We are deeply grateful to the Greater Lowell Community Foundation for their leadership and support through the Equality Grant,” said Alexandria Eberhardt, Executive Director of the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce. “Their investment allows us to expand this important work in Lowell and partner with Revolutionary Valley to equip local businesses with the tools they need to build truly inclusive environments. When communities invest in belonging, everyone benefits.” Building Belonging 2026 Press R…

The partnership aligns with Revolutionary Valley’s broader commitment to inclusive tourism across the region’s 21 cities and towns. The series also reflects the spirit behind the “All Are Welcome Massachusetts” initiative, a statewide effort developed in collaboration with all 16 Regional Tourism Councils to affirm that Massachusetts destinations welcome visitors of all identities and backgrounds.
