Inviting the entire Lexington community & beyond

Multicultural – Veg. Feast – Live Music – Henna – Yoga – Fun!!!
$7 online registration ($10 at gate) – Includes one packet of colors (Children under 5 – always free!)

Time: 1 pm – 5 pm

Just as a multitude of colors springs up in nature with the onset of spring, human beings have been endowed with many colors. We see this very evidently in our Town of Lexington, home to people with ties to many different parts of the world. Our Festival of Colors aims to celebrate the many colors in our lives and the oneness of it all.

This will be a 4-hour program where –
* You will enjoy family-friendly cultural presentations like dances (American, Mladost, Mexican, Chinese, Taiwanese, Sri Lankan, and Indian), musical bands (Fausto and the Sixteen Sixty (Italian) and Taal Mel (Indian)), etc – Mladost Folk Ensemble, Kinetic Synergy Dance Company, Legacy Dance Company, Dance Inn Youth Intensive, New England Martial Art Academy, CAAL (Dragon), Dance for Joy Dance Troupe, Artisan Dance Academy (Little fish – 10 yrs), Artisan Dance Academy (Dai Dance – 9 yrs), Artisan Dance Academy (13 yrs), Dance for Joy Dance Troupe, Bharathakalai School of Dance, Samskriti school of Kuchipudi Dance, Mona’s Dance Academy, Triveni School of Dance, Studio Bollywood, Upasana Odissi, Swasti Bhargava, Nikitasbda Masti group, Rashmi Rao, Bhumika Patel, Bina, Accapalo (2 groups), Jai Ho, and LHS Musical Flash Mob

* You can relish cuisines from the vegetarian food stalls and an ice cream truck (Desi Adda, Nirvana, Saihomecooking (Sima), Indian Pizzeria, Ice Cream, and others)

* Booths/vendors from different communities will display their wares and services (Jamsen Management, Woburn Urgent Care, RSM, DCU, Elite Freestyle, KTByte, Penguin Coding School, Math Studio, Einstein’s Workshop, Eastern Bank, Kumon, LexARTs, Surabhi Rathi Real Estate Agent, New Legacy Cultural Center, Stop-n-Shop, Michaelson, Gordon Optical, Levine Orthodontics, Lexington Family Dental, Rancs, Omar’s world of comics, Musical and Maestro, and Raj Kishan (CPA))

* Entertainment for all ages includes bouncy houses, henna, and face-painting booths

* Finally, we will play with dry organic powdered colors – a tradition from India where we welcome spring and greet friends by applying colors on each other’s faces and throwing colors in the air
