The Ahern Family Charitable Foundation seeks to assist veterans and current members of the U.S. military who are fighting the war on terrorism. Through fundraising efforts, the Foundation makes substantial financial grants to military support organizations that deal directly with affected veterans, military personnel, and their families.
This year’s luncheon will raise funds to support Operation Santa-Massachusetts, a program run in partnership with the Military Friends Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to families associated with the Massachusetts National Guard and Reserve. Operation Santa- Massachusetts will provide holiday gift cards to children of deployed and fallen soldiers.
As part of the luncheon, the 127th Army-Navy Football Game will be shown live with kick off at 3:00 PM. We anticipate we will have several dignitaries as guests. The event includes a buffet, raffle, and live and silent auctions. The afternoon will begin with a 2:00 PM VIP reception.
