Every year on Patriot’s Day, the National Lancers reenact the rides of Paul Revere and William Dawes.
Paul Revere leaves on horseback from the North End, Boston and William Dawes on horseback leaves from John Elliot Square, 10 Putnam St., Roxbury, warning the people while on their way to Lexington of the pending arrival of the British Regulars. They arrive separately after Revere travels through Charlestown, Somerville, Medford and Arlington. While Dawes travels through Roxbury, Brookline, Cambridge and Arlington en route to Lexington.
