Views from the Trolley

All aboard!

Journey through downtown Lowell on a historic trolley for a guided tour along the rails to view Lowell’s canal system and several of the gatehouse structures that powered Lowell’s factories. Riders can play a round of ‘gatehouse bingo’ along the way or enjoy the views as a ranger and Sidney the Squirrel share the history of these important structures. All ages welcome!

Tours will be offered Sunday, October 4 and Sunday October 11. The tour will begin at 10am at the Visitor Center (246 Market Street) and last 1.5 hours, ending at the Boott Cotton Mills Museum (115 John Street), with a special route that will span the entire trolley track system.
