Alexandra Lowder

Alexandra Lowder is a municipal professional with extensive experience in community

planning, economic development, and public administration. She serves as

Community and Economic Development Planner for the Town of Tewksbury, where she

supports the Planning Board through technical review, regulatory compliance, site

inspections, and the preparation of decisions. Her work includes fostering

public-private partnerships, supporting local economic growth, and leading municipal

communications and outreach initiatives.

Alexandra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications & Journalism from UMass

Amherst and a Master of Public Administration from UMass Boston. She brings to the

Board a strong background in municipal operations, procurement, compliance, and

regional collaboration, along with a commitment to effective governance and

community engagement.
